A small update is a straightforward change to an existing page, such as updating contact details, opening hours or prices, replacing supplied text, or swapping a few images. Each request covers up to 30 minutes of work. Launch includes one request every three months, Business includes one each month, and Pro includes two each month. Unused requests do not carry forward. New pages, redesigns, new copywriting and additional features are quoted separately. We will tell you before starting anything outside your allowance.

Your website includes two rounds of design changes before launch. A round means sending us one collected list of feedback, which we work through together. This can include changes to colours, images, wording and the layout within your agreed plan. Additional rounds, extra pages or a different direction after approval may need a separate quote, which we will agree with you first. Correcting something we have delivered incorrectly does not use up a revision round.

You provide the facts about your business, your logo, and any wording or images you would like us to use. You must own these materials or have permission to use them. We organise your supplied content across the agreed pages and tidy spelling, grammar and presentation. Writing substantial new content, creating a logo, photography and paid image licences are separate unless your plan includes them. You check and approve the final business information before launch. We will explain how to share any required access securely.

We confirm your start date and target first-preview date once the initial payment is received and we have the essential information, content and access needed to begin. You do not need everything ready before speaking to us—we will explain what is missing. Delivery depends on the agreed work and timely feedback. Missing information, additional requests or delays from other providers may change the schedule. We will keep you informed and agree the final launch date with you.

Your managed website plan has a 12-month initial commitment, paid monthly, starting from the billing date shown on your order. The setup fee, payment schedule and minimum total are shown before you buy. After 12 months, the service continues month-to-month—it does not restart another 12-month commitment. You can request cancellation through My SmartyX or by email. During the initial term, cancellation normally takes effect at its end; afterwards, cancel before the next renewal to avoid another monthly period. We will confirm the end date and any outstanding payments. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Your domain, branding and content remain yours. Once all payments due under your agreement are settled, you receive the agreed rights to the website work created specifically for you and can request an export of the transferable website files and content. SmartyX’s reusable tools and third-party licences are not transferred unless their terms allow it. If you ask us to manage the move to another host, our £150 transfer and administration fee applies unless agreed otherwise. Your new hosting and any replacement licences are separate costs.
